Blue Jay Way..
I didn't post this last night, and couldn't post it this morning because of the merger, but Benning's Denver University won last night, their first game of the best-of-three series. He had two secondary PPA assists.

Uens' Merrimack team lost to UMass Lowell today 7-2, therefore so is his season. I watched most of the second. UMass dominated as they were the bigger, more experienced team. I've mentioned this before, I imagine he returns for senior season.
33 GP, 2 G, 17 A

In better news, Berger's UConn team beat Boston University 3-1 to advance in the Hockey East regionals in Boston, Massachusetts.

Benning opened the scoring in Denver tonight. He joined the rush when the power play had expired, and got off a wicked wrister. Denver University is a period and a half away from moving on in the NCHC playoffs.

Nothing like scoring well the commentators are complain about the poor power play.

Benning gets the secondary PPA, as Denver wins and gets the series sweep.

Denver advances to the Regionals in St. Paul, Minnesota.

so new favorite prospect: Sourdif. Tough year losing Levi and Smilanic.

not super attached to anyone else except for Priskie but he isn’t exactly a prospect anymore

Sorry for your loss bro. It's always tough losing your favourite Prospect. I like your choice of Sourdif. I think he's going to be a good second or third line player. He's on fire right now!

Probably need to let the TDL pass, to see who remains from the 'Prospect' pool, to have a favorite. Not many draft picks left to offer, and those picks should be very late in the order. I too love the potential shown by Sourdiff, so far. To me I see some Trocheck in that kid. Of course, others may see that as well, and to get you need to give!

It will be interesting to see what happens, especially if they are truly all in on Giroux, as to who goes to Philly? Tippett, or Denisenko, plus? If you had a choice, who do you prefer to keep?

If I were to have to say two days ago, I think Sourdiff passed Smilanic recently in the forward Prospect rank. Ty has been struggling to finish the year in a weak conference, where Justin is white hot right now!

I'm partial to OT, but I think if this trade is going to happen, Philly would want him. He is good friends with my cousin from playing together in Saginaw, a good connection. Plus OT is tearing it up in the A right now, where Denny has been hurt for a while.
Also, not to get too political, but could this war be affecting Russian players/prospects?
I kind of think it's fine to sell high on Denny right now, if you still call it selling High.

This year's prospect vote will be over in like a week at this rate lol.
Man, Zito's used our prospects a lot:

Borg, 2023 First, 2022 First, Koly, Heineman, 2022 Second, 2024 Second, Smilanic, 2021 3rd, Stillman, 2021 6th, Levi

Luckily Lundell hit.

I'd prefer to keep Deni: it looks like he could play with Barkov. I'm hoping we're able to re-sign Marchy so we can play Deni next to Barkov or Lundell next year
