We all know Gilmour was traded because of the babysitter accusations.
Honestly, Gilmour was one of the dirtiest players I have ever seen play hockey. I will say he was the sneakiest ever at being dirty. He was always slashing and spearing behind the play, out of the ref’s eyes.

It's tough doing what if games, but not trading him gives me some what ifs on some of those teams in the 90s and 00s.

Agreed. I think Ellis is going to be the next Binnington, anyway. He's already walked the path from highly regarded to also-ran and potentially flaming out in the ECHL, to a dominant force of nature in the AHL, and he's twenty-five, the same age as Binnington when he broke out in 2019.

Random question? Would a package similar to Jordan Kyrou and Michael Buchinger be enough to land us land us Noah Dobson if he agreed to extend here?
So we can sign Dobson to a 8 year 9.5mil contract and hate him in 2 years when he isn't good defensively?

I'm not sold on Frederic. I feel like someone is going to pay him $4M+ based on his production from 2 and 3 seasons ago and I don't want us to be the team that goes that high. He has 15 points this season.
