Maybe he won’t rack up points in meaningless blowouts like Will Smith. But in the playoffs Dvorsky is who want on the ice.
Neat defensive play again and great pass by Dvo. If that tournament is any indication...I will start to be surprise if Dvo is NOT our pick....Add the size, add the versatility.....

It will be good to see all these players in the semi-finals and then the gold and bronze medal games. That will be good competition.

Let's say Habs draft Dvorsky.

Potential future line of Dvorsky and Beck as a shutdown/offensive line ?

Dvorsky left handed shot/centre. Beck right handed shot/centre. Gives you a player to take the faceoff on their strong side/another good faceoff player if the other gets kicked out.

Would be an interesting line in the future.

The Habs are proud to select rybelsus, I mean Dalibor.

Does anyone know when we'll know the world championship rosters?

On Wikipedia it says each nation needs to submit a "long list" no later than 2 weeks before the tournament starts, meaning tomorrow would be the deadline.

Long list doesn't really mean anything; however I can see TC wanting a majority of the team together by next weekend (May 6th) to allow for 3-4 practices before the event starts. I expect they'll start announcing the team beginning Monday.

I like the idea of Dvorsky, PLD and Dach. Triple D line. Big boys. Puck protection monsters. Dvorsky bringing the compete and finish.

Michkov and Smith you can say they are more skilled. But don’t tell me there’s anyone else worthy of being taken ahead of Dvorsky due to skill (not counting Bedard, Fantilli and Carlsson obviously).

Leonard is a similar package.. and Sale for his skill is way higher than Dvorsky but the rest of his game is so empty that you'd have to believe in rounding him out.

Urban has been great this game.

Kiiskinen has really been the only dangerous Finnish forward.

So the 2003 Slovakia team that won Silver was definitely backstopped by Halak. No NHLers came from that team.

The 1999 team that won Bronze had both Gaborik & Hossa on it. Lol

TSN just mentioned those are the only 2 Slovakian teams to medal in this tournament.

I like Leonard, but he’s not a guy you take over Dvorsky. Hardly a skill gap there.

Sale isn’t a guy going ahead of Dvorsky either.

Too often Dvorsky stops skating when he carries the puck into the Ozone. Yes, he needs to survey his options but he can also do that while still skating. Once he stops skating, he's telling the defenders that he's only looking to pass. Needs to maintain the threat of being able to beat them with speed out wide

He does that because he knows he can't beat them out wide, and so do they.
