The canadian are lucky these teams have no talent because god theyre all awful. This is the worst canadian team Ive seen since Drouins 2014 wjc team.

It's just so irritating to watch a team like this play like they're too good for their opponents when they're clearly not.

Really curious to see how Wood's going to develop. He sees the game well, knows where to position himself, and has a good shot. But his skating...YIKES

There was a shift where he was standing in front of the net and then lost a puck battle behind the net even though he's a monster because his legs don't move.

I mean, they are too good for their opponents. The talent level of this squad is very, very high but no one seems to play well? Or do the right thing, or play, or know where to go.

Until they're not. This team is perhaps the most talented in the tournament, but I'm not about to put money on them against Sweden or the U.S.

It's just a very young team vs. the US. And while Celebrini can flash Bedard-like moments, he's not Connor. Hlinka will be more interesting, we'll get to see more of the 2024s and maybe a few 2025s the 2025s (Misa, Martone (again), Gavin, Griffin, Dach) and maybe even McKenna and Roobroeck (2026s)
