But he led the team in PP goals how is he not elite?

I see Smith and half his moves won't fly at the next level while Leonard already plays the right way.

Though one for the scouts
People say the same thing every year about skilled players!

Said the same about Cooley last season and he is not doing too bad right now. Those guys are very smart, with high hockey IQ they know how to adapt their game.

Now i’m not saying Leonard doesn’t have skills. He is a good player.

USA's been setting scoring records but that B division might be the weakest division in WU18 history. USA's schedule has been an absolute breeze.

Yeah, the tournament really misses Russia. They should have put Slovakia in the B group. Canada, Czech Rep & Sweden in A then USA, Finland, Slovakia in B make for far more balanced groups.

Way too easy for U.S.

Dvorsky's putting a country on his back in this tournament and leading them to being competitive in every game so far. Many posters have dissected Dvorsky's offense all year ignoring the context that he's always been playing against older opposition. He was also put in a shutdown role against powerhouse teams in the WJC in a win against Cooley and Team USA in the round robin and almost beat Team Canada in the QF (destroyed Wright in the face-off dot).

I've predicted many times that he would torch the WU18 against kids his own age. He's doing it without the support that other top draft candidates in this tournament have. He's having a terrific tournament!

Please... not this again...

Bjarnason having equipment issues this period. Spent like a minute without a goalie stick now has lost a skate blade. Lol
