That's where I've been on board with suggestions other have made here in Tim Anderson or Tommy Edman. They're not great players at this point and both are having somewhat disappointing seasons, but they can both fill a specific role REALLY well that the Jays have mostly been filling with just "good enough" players.

Yeah. they would be smart additions and an easy way to improve and lengthen the team. Just looked at Espinal’s numbers and they aren’t that bad. Good walk rate, low Babip and playing better recently and these last two months than the first 2. His defense hasn’t been rated as good. He may be on the cusp.

I am actually surprised the Angels aren't getting angrier about all the pitches up and in today at this point. I mean it is clearly a gameplan on our part...but it is like 5 at this point.

Buck, they wanted Richards to internationally walk Ohtani instead of Jackson because that counts as 1 of the 3 minimum batters faced for Richards in case you need or want to change Trevor if he got into trouble that inning.
