Or they can't take a joke (which is again insecurity)? If Trudeau said they were gonna make US the 11th province, I'd laugh and shake my head, I wouldn't be so insecure to boo their national anthem.

If that was a joke it was the worst joke in history. Canadians rag on their own country as much as anyone else, those jabs were below the belt hence the reaction they got. This thread is probably going to get locked now because of politics.

well , we were all talking about the game starting with 3 fights in 9 seconds! And it was a great way to start. No doubt.
Built absolutely no one saying "hey did you see the talking Tkachuk Hagel fight". Or what a battle the Tkachuk Bennet fight was. Ask anyone who the third fight involved and and nobody remembers. ha!
Not exactly Probert vs Domi. Or Reaves McGratton fight.

Maybe have the tournament after the season next time?

It would have to be before season then, players aren’t going to agree to play in a tournament after the cup final happens.

Sure, but you also can't be certain USA would have won even with a healthy lineup.

They beat Canada in the 1st game.. but also lost to Sweden in regulation, who Canada beat.

I'm not necessarily opposed to the notion USA was the best team, but you took it a step further saying they were a clear step above every team when the majority of games were fairly close.
