Atkins throws away contending seasons by settling or waiting too long. I don’t know if it’s something he picked up in Cleveland where he just won’t go all in (or even close to all in).

He literally wasted two years of prime development time by keeping Montoyo.

Varsho should be hitting 9th. Id also have the runners on base trying to steal every time Kirk is at the plate. Either that or try some hit and run so we might not see Kirk GIDP.

These two are the biggest black holes in the lineup and something needs to be done.

I still can’t believe that one game where he bunted for a base hit earlier then came up with 2 on and 0 out against a lefty and the bunt was open again and instead of playing it smart and bunting again he tried to play hero and swung away.

I’ll let you guess what the result was.

I get it; power and RBIs get you the money but you know what doesn’t get you the money? Hitting .210 with a .640 OPS.
