Francis should NOT have started the 8th. He should have been brought in an inning earlier so that our higher leverage arm pitches the 8th instead of the 4th.

everyone loves CImber in here lmao, he was good his first year with us.

If you look at the career of guys like Mark Eichhorn who had a novel sidearm delivery you'll notice they usually start out like gangbusters and then gradually lose effectiveness over time as hitters make adjustments. Cimber is one of those guys. Hard to hit at first but once they see him in multiple at bats they start teeing off.

Cimber will have to change his delivery to be more effective.

I completely disagree. I'm big on using high-leverage guys in unique ways, and the 4th was the perfect time to go with your high-leverage lefty with the 3-4-5 hitters coming up and two of them hitting from the left side. So Mayza gets the middle of the lineup and a bunch of lefties (rather than waiting and hoping a similar situation comes up later) and then Francis can potentially face like 13 batters before he has to face the middle of the lineup a second time.

The real problem is that they decided to pull Francis in exchange for a low-leverage guy after 10 batters even though he had been fantastic and efficient. Just brutal.

People can bring wrc+++ wrca wtb+---== as much as they want for me the two major issues with this team since the beginning of the season is Manoah and Varsho. For what the Jays paid for Varsho he got to be better than that. I think many Jays fans underrate Mareno as a prospect a hell of a lot. When you trade a young player like Moreno you want to hit a homerun and Varsho aint one so far. What doesn't help on top of that is Kirk is struggling a lot.

This team Nevers hits doubles or homeruns with runners on. Lucky to get one run in an inning because nobody can deliver a big hit. Absolutely need to make upgrades offensively

Not winning games just hitting singles unless you steal a shit ton of bases and bunch them together.

Jays get ride of a .280 - .290 career avg hitter and a young and upcoming prospect, for a career .240 hitter to maybe catch a couple more balls in the outfield... Poor upper management decisions going on in this organization.

The fact Biggio is still up with this roster makes no sense at all as well. Schneider is also making mistakes on the go, his decision last year with pitching is what killed their season, but the fact that he's still making poor choices this year as well is just signs he's not the guy, he's still learning and that's not what this team needs right now, maybe back when Montoya was here but this team isn't in rebuild anymore.

Again this all goes on upper management and their decisions it always goes back to them, and year after year they have been more concerned with getting more bats and outfield help, then fixing the bullpen year after year. Shatkins is the problem.
