Devlin's a basketball guy. I don't blame him for being good here.He balances out some of how absolutely horrible Matt Devlin is. God he's bad.

I'm not saying it's necessarily his fault, I just can't understand how anyone in charge has watched him call a game and thought "Yeah, we need more of that."Devlin's a basketball guy. I don't blame him for being good here.

I've never heard an announcer so bad at calling the play as it happens, especially in baseball. He regularly calls plays several seconds after they happen, even on basic things like a strikeout. It literally seems like he's watching a delayed feed or just not paying attention to the game.
More great base running in a close game.
This is a valid point, last number I saw was .290 his average is still decent for how long his recent struggles have been, more rest might be a good thing.Guerrero was playing great until he hurt his knee a couple weeks ago and has been terrible since, and it seems fairly obvious that that injury is tied to his recent struggles.

Could of factored into his lack of hustle down the line, that I saw in the 1st, but watching his swing yesterday I found myself saying keep your head in it man, and again today, and even Siddall mentioned he can see it in his swing mechanics. Maybe it's factoring in a bit, but he should be able to keep his head in it, it's like he's just trying to go yard instead of just putting the ball somewhere hard.He was raking in the first half of this month and had hits in 13 of 14 games with an OPS over 1.000 and then got hurt and he’s at like .500 since.
It feels like they should have put him on the 10-day IL and he’s maybe mucked up his mechanics by trying to play through an injury.
I’m just guessing you’re not on a keto diet….The weight shit is overblown too.
Bengie Molina was overweight, often becoming the butt of jokes for it and yet still managed to have a successful 12 year career almost entirely behind the plate. (And somehow hit for the cycle in his later years)
Catcher and first base are like the two positions where athleticism doesn't generally matter but keep clinging to those delusions Moreno is better.

Varso reminds me a lot of Travis Dermott

Im thrilled that Berrios has found his groove again. Just in time to rescue the rotation from Manoa.
