When there pitchers are throwing some strikes to get ahead, they are throwing them right down the middle at times, and Boston is not missing. Same thing with Swanson, threw a strike but it was dead center and Boston seems incapable of missing those.

Remember weeks ago when you all were ripping me for ripping Belt.

How about now? Guys an absolute f***ing fraud and giving away 3-4 automatic outs every game is putrid. DFA this loser

What a f***ing waste of time. Pissing games away here.

Remember missing the playoffs by 1 game.

I'm not so sure if I would let the batting off the hook entirely either this series. Yes they have drove in enough runs, but this is Fenway a very hitter friendly park with high scoring games. A worse lineup in Boston is still out hitting them this series.

People rip you because you pitch fits like a toddler, make grand statements and predictions, then ignore all the ones you get wrong to harp on the ones you get right like some sort of poor, oppressed seer.

People ripped on you about Belt because you were doing this within a couple of games of the start of the season, just like you did for other players that you have mysteriously shut up about since they got better.

People rip on you because you say fantastically wrong or awful things, then turn around and play passive-aggressive "look how right I was" gloater as if that's supposed to go anywhere positive.

You won't find many, if any, people arguing Belt doesn't suck. You will find lots of people arguing that the way you went about screeching about how Belt sucks is needlessly annoying and liable to cause issues.

and the fact that you, by all evidence and implication in your account age and whatnot, should be an adult and yet aren't capable of figuring out the simple connection between your attitude, your posting habits, and the types of interaction you have with people and the treatment you receive from them is mind-boggling. Like it's literally baffling that you have existed on this board as long as you have, have been largely reviled by as many people as I've seen take issue with you, have had as much trouble participating in as many threads as I've witnessed, and yet you still refuse to take ownership of your overriding responsibility for that happening.

Yea we also remember the 250+ times you were wrong and overreacted as well

Getting spanked already early on. Not good.

This isn't really a spanking. This is more like when someone just keeps poking you even as you tell them to quit it. Every ball is just flaring out of reach of a defender or squibbing through a hole (the Yoshida HR notwithstanding).

This isn't aggravating. It's annoying.

I think it's time to turn it and maybe watch some hockey. Frustrating baseball to watch. Just getting completely out played by Boston right now who is doing things I would like to see from the jays. Short swings when down strikes, just trying to make contact not hit it to the moon, they keep driving in runs.

Hopefully they can come back.

Edit: now that it's 6-0 don't think a comebacks in the cards.

I’ve only really ripped Belt this year. Jansen Espinal amd Biggio to.

Everyone of them deserves it.

Gausman I love but this is disgraceful.

1 game out of last place. Embarrassing

"1 game out of last place"

in a division where last place would be 1st or 2nd place in every other division in baseball. And a division where you're like 1 good week from rocketing back up to 2nd in it.

Because f*** context, just find things to freak out about!

Just wanted to get in before watching the Leafs…..the Jays are pitching and playing defence like absolute trash the past 5 games aided by that stupid manager Schneider and his management of the pen. That’s it, Go Leafs Go!!

I'd like to see them demote or DFA Biggio... You've got Espinal and Merrifield to share 2nd base...As a bonus both play multiple positions... Unless they don't have a prospect ready to move up... I think we know what Biggio is by now and he's 28 years old... Not a big move but I'd prefer to see a younger guy get some reps.

That's probably what it is, really... nobody good enough down there.

They can't even claim injuries is causing the poor play. They haven't had anyone of significance on the IL except Adam Cimber. It's been a remarkably healthy first month of the year, compared to a team like the Yanks.

I think the only issue is that with Espinal and Merrifield in place ther won't be that many reps and you don't want a young guy who can develop stagnating on the bench and maybe getting 150 PAs for the season. Like the team has Barger and Lopez in AAA but it might be better for them to play every day vs being extreme part-time pinch hitters or backup to the backup infielder.

There has to be better options than Biggio, but it might be smarter to pluck someone off the waiver wire for that job.

We seem to have 4 players hitting lately. That won’t get it done. No idea what they should do moving forward. They have tonnes invested in these players.
