1) he was never going to do what he did in April all season so it's not that big of a deal

2) Regular Chapman is still pretty damn good. He should bounce back from this

3) If there's a glass half-full way to look at it, it's that every at bat he struggles in potentially lowers his asking price in the winter and puts the Jays in better position to take a run at retaining him.

It's like we don't even need Buck there because Dan does the color commentary and the pbp.

Eh we can keep Buck. For some reason he's like the one old head commentator in sports that doesn't annoy me with his grandpa simpson-ish ramblings/musings.
 
Got him again on the rising fastball. Kinda knew that game was over when Kirk went down after being up 3-1 in the count.

Dogshit ass loss. Set the ping pong table on fire, no music in the room, etc.

This was a frustrating game and a frustrating team. Yes, they have had a tough schedule but if you want to be a top team that shouldn't be an excuse. Unfortunately, I dont think we will make the playoffs this year. Shneider is bad, almost charlie montoyo bad.

Mountcastle was out of the basepath and should have been called out. That was a major mistake from the ump.
 
Underperforming for sure. What are you going to do? You have to hope they break out before its too late. Their payroll is a bazillion dollars. Unlikely a trade does much. Have to hope and pray.

I’ve been bashed all year for ripping this team. I could still be wrong about them but I highly doubt it. So many holes and weaknesses. Can’t compete with good teams

How long before Mattingly is no longer just the bench boss. You have to assume there’s a very short leash on Schneider
