I would imagine Springer probably doesn't play tomorrow as a precaution.

That looked way worse than it was.

Schneider... Please... WHY THE F!@#$#@ do you push Romano with the 4+ out save especially with runners on. You know he gives up the long ball.

That one is purely on Schneider.

Close call. Better rule against the Jays.

Meanwhile the Yankees keep getting opportunities to skirt the sticky stuff rules by letting their pitchers wash their hands instead of kicking them out like the rules say is supposed to happen.

He had allowed 1 HR on the year before that...
 
This bullpen management makes zero sense.

So you go to three different guys when you know you a) have a game tomorrow and b) 17 straight games after this one.

Then for some reason you go to a Romano for a 4 out save. Generally when he's in there for more than 3 he struggles

And now the game is tied. I get feeling like you need the W but at least be a bit smarter about it.

But his overall body of work says he gives up the long ball.

You don't ever put him on with a tying run at the plate. Romano needs to start clean.

Now he's gonna wear him out so he wont be available for a couple games, or he'll stink.
 
And now Pete's on the phone again to get someone else going in the pen as Romano struggles.

Good job guys. The idea of 3+ out saves should have died ages ago.

4 HR in 64 innings last year. It hasn't really been a "problem" for him at any point, but over the last two years he's been particularly excellent at limiting HR.

I don't disagree with the other complaints, though... there was no need to go to him there.
