I'm generally in agreement with the folks here, i'm not sure what, if anything you can do to fix Berrios.
By all accounts he's healthy. Not like injury caused a sudden, drastic change in his fastball's effectiveness. He just...can't locate it. Like someone else said. He comes out and sits the best players in the world down on 4 pitches and then just completely implodes for completely different reasons later. It's confusing.
It's unfortunately a problem now though. Same exact story as 2022 except now everyone's aware.

He wasn’t using his fastballs as much to start the game then used it more. That’s what I’m thinking anyway
Right because the Angels were keying in on him. He starts mixing in his fastball in more as anybody would and gets shelled.
It wasn't just his fastball either. His sinker got smacked too. We're now dealing with a pitcher who seemingly cannot throw velocity. That's just not sustainable in today's game.

He tries to go inside a lot with it and just misses. And then given how Kansas City was straight up sitting on it i would guess it's either being tipped or it's so flat coming in hitters don't even have to think about what it is.
Far be it from me since i'm hardly a pitching guru but it's obvious something ain't workin.
