I actually wondered if that has become a distraction for him but like someone else posted I think he’ll take a short term deal to try and prove himself again. I can see one year in New YorkChapman has cost himself what, maybe $100 mil over the past couple of months?
It's been hot garbage all year.At least they'll be on the road if they make it in
Offense is hot garbage at home for whatever reason
Little LeagueTeo does Teo things. Don't miss those fielding mistakes. Yikes.
16th in runs scored, 10th WRC+ and 12th in ops. Has definitely been disappointing but it’s around league average, not hot garbage. It's been hot garbage all year.
As a matter of fact, this may actually be one of the worst hitting teams in recent Blue Jays memory.
And they've been shutout the most of any team in the league this year and for a large % of the season were bottom 3 in average with RISP.16th in runs scored, 10th WRC+ and 12th in ops. Has definitely been disappointing but it’s around league average, not hot garbage.
It’s weird because most of the time, Jays have a top ten offence especially when they have a good team.
Wow Houston blows it open. Good for us?
And that's not even talking his plate performance, his defense has declined significantly this year.Chapman has cost himself what, maybe $100 mil over the past couple of months?
2-2 probably does it but the magic number is still 3. We only need one of Seattle or Houston to lose a single game for the magic number to be 2. But this is baseball, both teams could just as easily win out. Jays need to start winning some games. If Jays go 2-2, they are basically in? Seattle would have to sweep Texas in order to tie the Jays in the standings.

Yea 12 is terrible lmaoAnd that's not even talking his plate performance, his defense has declined significantly this year.
His errors have gone up from 5 last year to 12 this year, and there have been far too many plays in the dirt or off base that Vladdy has to stretch and dig out or swat a player running down the line.
I think he'll still get paid by some desperate team.
For comparison, Bo only has 8 errors this year, down from 23 & 24 in the last two seasons.
