but but our offense is good. We hit really well when it’s plus 23 outside and the doom is closed on Wednesday’s but only in the second half of a month that doesn’t include June to September.

Does it even matter if they make the playoffs? All you face in the playoffs is good pitching and this team looks overmatched against any good pitcher. None of these guys look capable of getting hot for a long stretch(aka look dangerous or strike fear in opposition pitchers). They have a few good games and then they stink for a few weeks.

Shhh don’t say that. There are people in here who think our offence is fine, that we only can’t hit elite pitching. Obviously they’ve been watching the games this season with their eyes closed or with fuzzy blue hued glasses.

How is this team supposed to win the the playoffs if they can’t hit good pitching. Serious decisions need to be made at the end of the season including the hitting coach gone the second they are eliminated.
 
They play like they are 100% sure to make the playoffs. Someone in the coaching staff should remind them they can still miss if they lose all games.

Belt was saying that he wanted the Rogers Center to be loud. I agree with him. They should be loudly booing these f***ing losers off the field.

It's absolutely amazing how there are people that are still defending this team right now.

Edit: look at John Schneider's face in press conference. He looks like a man that has absolutely no idea what to do and how to fix these offensive woes.

Unfortunately he was a guy who coached all the kids in the minors when they survived off pure talent and he got credit for growing up with them through the system, he was the familair face. Now in the majors he seems to have no idea what to do when talent can't win you every game alone... Mattingly has been a church mouse all season, wonder if he would even take the job if offered to him.
