One thing I didn't like about the first half of the game was that the Jays had some pretty bad at bats against some mediocre pitching. Also Whit needs to be sitting more and if he is playing he needs to be near the bottom of the lineup.

Texas has an abomination of a bullpen. They ain’t winning shit either.

Every time I watch this Leclerc guy from Texas he’s either walking a bunch of guys or giving up bombs. None of these guys for Texas can throw strikes.

I’d play Clement at 3B, Schneider at 2B and Varsho/Horwitz at LF, vs righties. I’m good with Varhso in LF if they don’t trust Horwitz’s defence in the outfield. But Clement has to be in their imo.

Im a Phillies fans first and foremost and Im absolutely pissed off at their manager and Nick Castellasnos. The Jays and Mariners are my AL teams. I actually think the Phillies and Jays are similar. Both high spending teams who have for the most part been carried by their pitching despite so much more expected from their hitting. Though the Phillies this past month offense has been awoken. This being written, the Jays are making playoffs the due to the fact that the Rangers are collapsing. They are done.
