The Legend Continues
23k tonight for the series of the year. Attendance wasn’t great over the weekend either. I suspect $$$, over lack of interest, is to blame.
Attendance will be back up tonight for loonie dogs.

4 beers and 2 hotdogs = $100. Hard to beat.Attendance will be back up tonight for loonie dogs.
Rising prices for everything these days makes some entertainment costs rough23k tonight for the series of the year. Attendance wasn’t great over the weekend either. I suspect $$$, over lack of interest, is to blame.
Probably more the timing than anything. Summer over, back to school, back to work, people just need to get back to the routine.23k tonight for the series of the year. Attendance wasn’t great over the weekend either. I suspect $$$, over lack of interest, is to blame.
I think timing, priorities and cost all factor into folks entertainment budget.Probably more the timing than anything. Summer over, back to school, back to work, people just need to get back to the routine.
I can't imagine the cost changes much for people week to week.
Yep, back to school, summer over. It'll ramp up again soon, once people get back into the routine.I think timing, priorities and cost all factor into folks entertainment budget.
A lot of fans travel from all over Canada and that impacts attendance in the summer months.
That's honestly disgusting, it's so hard for a family to head to a game and eat/drink.4 beers and 2 hotdogs = $100. Hard to beat.
I went to the afternoon game a few weeks ago. Great seats, $26 each and as you say you can bring your own stuff in. Cheaper than the movies, not sure what people expect. You can bring food and non-alcoholic beverages into the stadium though.
But admission prices in general are getting a bit out of hand.
At least it’s easy to pick your favorite kid. That's honestly disgusting, it's so hard for a family to head to a game and eat/drink.
Guess you have to pick your favorite child and take them one at a time lol
You’d think the Saturday afternoon game against Boston would draw 40 k as will the Yanks and TB the last home stand, if they’re still in the hunt.Yep, back to school, summer over. It'll ramp up again soon, once people get back into the routine.
I said thag a few weeks ago but a bunch of other bats went ice cold like Wit. He shouldn’t be in the top 4. Even just to send a message that he needs to be better.Shouldn’t they move Vladdy down? Big game and he goes 0-4 with 4 ks. I have been patient with him up to this point but enough is enough.
I’d go with (but I know they won’t):
Springer
Bo
DS
Biggio
Kirk
Vladdy
Horwitz
Varsho/Merrifield
KK
I would think so.You’d think the Saturday afternoon game against Boston would draw 40 k as will the Yanks and TB the last home stand, if they’re still in the hunt.
I’ve never done it but I really should at least bring in a drink or two.You can bring food and non-alcoholic beverages into the stadium though.

$20 or so per ticket for professional entertainment seems like a pretty good deal. Not sure how anyone could find that expensive.Movie admissions are outrageous as well. Not sure what answer you're expecting to hear. GA standing tickets are ~$20 usd whereas some teams in the States are offering monthly passes for $40-$50.
I think that time was in August - just like Bo last year. Lit a fire under his ass for sure.I said thag a few weeks ago but a bunch of other bats went ice cold like Wit. He shouldn’t be in the top 4. Even just to send a message that he needs to be better.
He's had a weird/disappointing season. But in his previous ten games he had a .391 OBP. He had only struck out 6 times in his previous 20 games. He has a 146 wRC+ in high leverage situations this year. I don't see who's actually a better option, and I don't think moving him down sends him any message that he isn't already aware of.I said thag a few weeks ago but a bunch of other bats went ice cold like Wit. For sure it would be hard for some. Same with going to the movies or having dinner out.Relative to other sporting events here (Leafs/Raps) sure primarily due to sufficient supply, but there are several "bigger market"/more valuable franchises that have lower average game day costs.
I'm sure there are plenty of families of 4+ that would find the means to go to a game expensive.
