Lol.

The Jays are 26th in the league in reliever innings pitched. The complete opposite of "over worked". What, you think every other team is seeing 8 inning outings from their starters?

Over 162 games, guys are simply going to have bad games. Sometimes bad weeks. Especially relievers.
I’m talking about the entire staff, not just relievers. And not just talking about total innings, but high stress, high leverage innings.

Is vlad still with the team? f***ing joke this pos still gets playing time. Loser. Straight up loser. I have not one good thing to say about him. Most overrated pos in sports.

This is loss is on Vlad. Just awful, awful day for him. Wow.

Ok John, make sure not to pinch hit for Kirk. There’s a chance this could go 12 innings :sarcasm:

It's on the manager

He pulled Ryu at 76 pitches yesterday up 2 runs and wound up using half a dozen arms needlessly

Tonight, it was clear Kikuchi didn't have it, but he had to keep him out there because of yesterday's indulgence

Ryu is on a pitch count coming back from TJS. He’s topped out at 85 pitches and has averaged about 80.

You also probably don’t want a soft-tossing breaking ball specialist going through the heart of their lineup 3 times at Coors.

5-0 lead against a terrible team in a must win game blown, just tough to think these type of losses will lead to a playoff spot.

He threw 80 in his first start back a month ago and is a free agent in 30 days

If he couldn't go another inning yesterday then this team isn't serious about winning

I'd rather a soft thrower than a hard thrower like Kikuchi who was getting clubbed with hard contact

Colorado was dead in the water but leave it to Vladdy, poor defence, and 6 base on balls by Kikuchi to give it right back to them. We can’t give these kinds of games away.

They aren’t throwing him out there for 90 or 100 pitches. It isn’t happening. It isn’t how things work.

Verlander threw 8 innings and 87 pitches in his 2nd start back from tj at the age of 38 just last year

Paxton, 107 pitches in 2nd start back from tj at age 34 this year
