Angels bullpen is horrific which is kind of important in the playoffs.

Phillies bullpen was kinda trash during the season last year, although they were better in the playoffs. Nationals had an awful bullpen the year they won, and I think same with the Astros in 2017

Your chances take a hit for sure, but it's not impossible to make the WS. I'm sure the Angels will make some moves if they are in contention around the deadline

Yes a WS win would be pretty crazy but we did recently see the Braves win it all after an 88 win season (and the Jays missing out on playoff baseball with 91).

That’s not surprising at all to me because the Braves won their division that year and were coming off 3 division wins in row and going to game 7 of the NLCS the year before.

The Angels haven’t made the playoffs in 8 years. To predict that they will win 4 playoff series in one year when they have only won 2 playoff series in the last 20 is a very bold prediction.

I'm not really sure how or why previous season/postseason success impacts the current season. The Royals didn't make the postseason for 30 years and then went to the WS in b2b seasons. Like I said, it's a crazy prediction but once we get into October baseball anything can happen.
