A lifelong Cleveland resident, Dolan purchased his hometown team in 2000.

From what I read David Blitzer who bought I believe 30% in 2022 has a clause to be a majority owner in the future (the article mentioned that he can be majority owner in a few years, there was no mention of that was based on Dolan of dying)
