Yeah a guy with a career 35 point average who is defensively solid is an AHL 3rd liner. I think you just showed us who the joke is. I would have thought bringing back Looch would have prevented you from whining until December at least.

Marshy Zacha Pasta
Frederic Coyle DeBrusk
Heinan Boqvist Lauko
Lucic Heinen JVR
Geekie

Heinen will probably make the team and I hope he does well.

I will forever remember the playoff game where he was getting lined up for a big hit. He saw it coming and just gave up the puck and spun off out of danger.

You have Heinen playing on both the 3rd and 4th lines and you have both of those lines centered by wingers.

JVR - Zacha - Pasta
Marchy - Coyle - DeBrusk
Heinen - Geekie - Freddy (each of them can play multiple positions, so unsure of exactly where)
Luc - Brown - Lauko
Boqvist

Gryz - McAvoy
Lindholm - Carlo
Forbert - Shattenkirk

Lucic looked great and led the stretch at the end.

McLaughlin took a run at Chiasson and caught him by surprise and knocked him on his ass and out of the zone. Then Chiasson got up and took a run at McLaughlin just as he was getting the puck but Mc saw it coming and stood up Chiasson (though he got knocked off the puck).

Pasta was filthy, he went with Zacha on a bunch of the 2on2 drills and they scored some nice goals. Zacha looks quick.

Greer blew up JVR and kind of apologized on their way back to the bench.

Poitras is not intimidated and is making plays.

on D Richie, Lohrei and Brunet had some nice offensive moments. Mitchell looks quick.

Great drills and really quick pace to the skate.

I love reading this about Looch...especially when someone with your qualifications writes it!

What time do they open tomorrow?

If Danton Heinen takes a roughing penalty at some point this year I'll consider the signing a success.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but.....

I was relatively happy until they turned over a rock and found Heinen, wonder how they missed getting JFK to come back?

Oh sure they didn't have a second line center and Grizz was still here but I really wasn't prepared for Heinen, thought he was finally gone forever.

I remember him doing that a lot. That must be why he is such a smart, defensively sound player. Determination and sacrifice.

I think he was with the first group, which I did not see. I’ll see them tomorrow afternoon. It was a tough day to pick out players, only about half of them had jersey numbers. The other half were wearing blank jerseys so you either had to know what they look like or get a close look at the number on the back of their helmet when they’re standing in line near you. If I see a guy once I can usually pick him out by his skating the rest of practice but they only let you stand in half of the rink so there were some guys you can’t get close enough to, to read their helmet number.

In the AHL. If they don't have 10 wingers better than Mr. Intensity they are in more trouble than I thought. Danton F****** Heinen. What a joke.
The Heinie-Merk-DeBrusk line was like watching the famous Russian KLM line in 1988 at Twin Rinks in Danvers months before they defected

This isn’t the beat down Heinen from Cassidy but a confident, savy, fast Heinen after 2 years being treated like a human by Charlie McAvoy father-in-law Mike Sullivan

Lock he’s on this loaded team

I dont hate him as much as Fenian but man is it disheartening if we can't find one prospect or signing that can make the roster over Heinen.
He hasn’t made it yet but he’s a good player - he will blossom under Monty
