I don't understand how new accounts work honestly maybe Emp can explain. When I first signed up it was to join an NHL GM connected league, my buddy signed into my computer first to show me what it was all about and then when I made my account I had to go through basically a trial through email explaining why I'm trying to sign up and not making an alt account.

It seems like daily there are new accounts that are obviously old users who either terribly lost arguments, got banned or at least embarrassed off the platform. Did things change from over a decade ago?
