It`s a strange trade for both sides.

I don't particularly think it's strange from devils perspective. You have to remember that this is a business. If Bratt has 0 intention of signing an extension, and Meier has expressed that interest, then it makes sense to explore that option.

Obviously losing Bratt hurts, but if he doesn't wanna extend then..it'd make sense I guess. We wouldn't really know that though probably until later.

Nah...he was easily one of my least favorite posters on this board - it's much better here without him. I have been on this site forever without blocking anyone, but he was the first poster I was considering. Really glad that I didn't though, as I engaged with him that memorable night when he switched allegiances and that was some of the most fun I've had on these boards.
there is an option to block people? now Im understand why some prospect topics arnt popular.

I'm pretty sure it's us and no idea who or what is coming back

That's all I'm saying

Can't sell anybody out, which I'm 100% sure I never posted this person's name or said what he does for the Sharks, other than he's not a management/front office person. Just a long time employee going back to the Dean Lombardi era.

If I say too much more I'll probably be giving away his identity or at least what exactly he does for the team,

Says if it happens today he won't find out until (and IF) it becomes official, as it's not a game day or even a practice day.

Once again, this person is not involved in hockey ops/management/front office of any kind and that's all I can say about him. He's not apart of the decision making braintrust and isn't in Grier's office or war room or wherever he's holed up right now.

than we should use him in playoff and trade after. his QO isn`t big. from business perspective.

If no Holtz I imagine Z, Gritsyuk/Casey/Muk, 1st?

As much as I love Casey, he's our most redundant prospect since we have plenty of offensive defenseman, so him being the main prospect in the deal wouldn't be bad.

I really don't want to see Muk included. Looking forward to having him and Grits on the team.

Your source is the SJ Sharkie who got stuck in the roof, isn’t it?
