Our normal payment is still better then their overpayment and now they have even less to work with after the Barbashev trade

I mean it depends on what they moved. Their overpayment could easilly be better. If they still have Cormier and Brisson and 2 1sts I could definitely see them taking that over like Holtz, Muk, 1st

I just don't see how Meier ends up in Vegas unless Fitz is refusing to give up any of our top 5 prospects in the deal or the extension piece is a hangup.

I do think it's funny that all the deadline shows are going to have to fill 6 hours talking about absolutely nothing and crazy people are still going to take off work to listen.

At first I thought like this but then I thought more about it and they're f***ing crazy. As I've been saying something like 2 1sts, Cormier, Brisson would beat out what we're likely to offer and that's fine with me. That's not a price I'm out to beat.

The problem as one source mentioned is that if there’s a prospect or something Vegas has that SJS really likes. We might have better prospects but they may not actually like Holtz or Mukhammadullin much. Maybe they love Vegas’s top prospect.
