Yup

Hammond last year was definitely the first to come to mind

Don't they have Tarasov? Maybe he's injured?

Jon Gillies was a ROCK STAR in my stoppable goals percentages last year. It just wouldn't feel right having no data for him this year, so I'm excited for him to play.

Tarasov played yesterday in the AHL after last playing on 1/22.

So he’s been hurt and they shouldn’t throw him into the NHL now.

Hammond was an excellent tank acquisition. I stopped watching this team in the last 10 games but I'm sure it was a treat.

Circumventing the "spirit" of the salary cap, in droves. Why does the league insist on keeping a mickey mouse team there? 🤔 There's got to be some angle.
The rest of the league likes the fact that they can sign people to front-loaded deals and then trade them away on the back half.

If CHI wants a longer-down-the-road 2nd for Domi... maybe they'd take a 3rd plus a 6th or something. And 2025 or 2026. I dunno.

I agree that a legal loophole results in unintended consequences. I’ve heard the term used as shorthand for something missed in a statute or where a statute’s wording allows for misuse of the statute. It’s a colloquialism in practice which isn’t universally defined in my view even if Black’s law dictionary probably has an entry for it. Just my thought. Others may see it differently. What was the point of all this?

At least 4 of the goals he allowed to Florida in the game where we blew a 4 goal lead in one period were BAD.

I think we got Bob yanked from that game and were up 6-4 and lost 7-6 in OT?

And there were people here implying both that day and afterwards that the defense and system is the reason that 34 year old Andrew Hammond was bad here at the NHL level.

Andrew Hammond, who retired after 2 KHL games this year and ended up there because all he got here in North America was a PTO (which was gonna be for the AHL) with the Panthers of all teams, which I believe he left on his own before they could cut him or sign him, because I guess he got the KHL deal.

That lasted 2 games and he retired.

He also had a particularly HORRIBLE game against Buffalo and another against Montreal. I forget which one of those two games was the one where he allowed the center ice goal.

I want Crouse so badly. He would be a perfect fit for this team. I dont know how we could fit him, not really a salary cap nerd. ARI doesnt want any salary back most likely.

This team is a clown show.

So much for that memo.

Bettman's pet team in the desert is no better than a money laundering taco shop and probably has the same odds to win on any given night.

CIRCUMVENTION at every turn. Oh but let's look the other way to offset their low revenue situation playing in a college barn.

Forget relocation at this point

Time to fold that shit stain franchise

Better run teams than them have went under

They're a joke

And guys like Friedman need to stop publicly fellating Armstrong for being shrewd and all this bullshit.

f*** them and their pathetic 5000 seater glorified public ice skating facility.

I shouldn't trash the place like that though. It's an insult to the ASU team to share a building with this JOKE operation franchise.

They shouldn't have even let them put their logo on the ice next to theirs, which I think originally they were saying there would be no Coyotes logo on the ice, but it ended up on there next to the ASU logo.

Wood would have to go the other way, but that still wouldn't help next year.
Yeah but they didnt want to take salary back for Chychrun either so I bet they dont want even expiring contracts unless its Bernier. LOL

I guess their LTIR team is missing a goalie though.

Arizona seems incapable of choosing and developing their own talent, so I would not be surprised if they miss on a lot of these picks.

Coyots have a lot of picks for period when they play on the little stadium. Cooley and 2023 early pick are only starting to cook. And Voracek(Are they didn`t trade him?) can play supportive role for young players. On my taste it`s better than through guys in fire like we did with Jack, Yegor and Janne.

The problem with this organisation is they should find better coaches for develop their young players. They have talent, but they were not good in development of them.

everyone can laugh at the coyotes but they are f***ing loaded with draft picks, as many as 21 1-3 round picks over the next few years. unless they hire conte, they should be pretty well positioned in the next 3-5 years. then again it’s arizona so who the hell knows.
You know what would be kinda funny? Isles fire Lou this summer and Arizona sits down "hey guys we have a culture problem, theres this old guy who just got fired who is a proven winner" and bring in Lou. All of a sudden all those picks are gone. Poof!
