With Riley out , what this means for another player to step up ? Who?

Any recap other then goals and assists on who played well and who really didn’t ? Surprises ? Disappointments ?

As long as they aren't committed to a pre conceived goalie tandem and pick based off of performance in camp we should be fine. There isn't a goalie that has the kind of track record or performance this year that should get a pass for not performing compared to the other goalies.

I was thinking more along the lines of I hope they don't have a pre conceived goalie tandem based on who's NHL drafted and who's not.

Today, the NHL drafted goalie gave up 5 goals on 15 shots.

My eyes are on Jordan Dumais, Kidney really isn’t a huge loss considering the pool of talent coming out of this camp. There’s no bad players. Potentially one of the strongest teams aside from goaltending in the countries history. We shall wait and see how tomorrow goes. It kills me not being able to watch the game and get good analysis. But I’m excited for what’s to come.

Roy and Dumais bring the same thing. Dumais is smaller and can get pushed around.

For postrs who were there, how did Korchinski and Matier look? In my eyes that is the only pairing in that game that could actually be brought to the tournament as a pairing.

Williams about Rousseau's game

“He was calm in front of his net and he managed the rebounds well. He saw the game well and it felt like every move he made was solid. He didn't give way to a lot of scrums in front of his net and when that happened he was able to push the pucks into the corner of the rink."

About Dumais

"That was quite the goal, commented head coach Dennis Williams. It's a goal worthy of a sniper. He did a very good job. He's not the biggest player, but I liked his level of competition. He worked well with his stick, got involved in defensive withdrawal and was later rewarded with his power play goal. This kind of shooting cannot be learned, it comes from instinct."

It’s not bad to have two guys who can do the same thing.

Does he really get pushed around though? Or are you just saying that because of his height?

He seems to really know how to open the ice up to himself and make a play happen. You can see it in his game.
