That Pecno guy is the first poster ever making it to my ignore list. Maybe I’ll take him off it after the tournament, but it’s exceedingly clear he’ll only take away from my enjoyment of this amazing tournament. I suggest everyone else do the same.
How do you find the ignore function?
nvm found it.

Canada built a team as if it were building an nhl team with salary cap 🧢!! There is no salary cap in international hockey , they should have taken the best players. The best players were not taken. Emphasis on big and soft rather then small and quick
You do know that the US left the leading scorer in the OHL off their team, right? Right???

Milic is starting against Finland, Gaudreau is starting against the Czechs in the first game of the tournament.

Not sure why but I have a feeling Roy will finish the tournament on one of the top 2 lines.

If he continues to carry that third line to becoming another deadly threat the opponent has to worry about, then I'm all for that. They've been consistently good through these first two games.

Some nasty rain and wind in Halifax tonight.

Should still be a really good night of hockey! Looking forward to contending my first ever World Junior Canada game, or any Canada team in that matter! :)

I want to see the Fantilli / Stank / Guenth line get some opportunities tonight!

Not so hot on Vancouver Island either. Housebound at the moment as there is no way I will make it back up our hill.

Smaller crowd here tonight, ticket was only available for Halifax Moosehead Season Ticket Holders unless you bought an individual ticket online.

Plus Canada/Finland tonight haha.

Despite all the talk and potential, I don't see this team being on (or near) the same level as the 2005 team. We'll have a better perspective in 2 weeks.

They are doing a good job controlling possession and generally outplaying teams. Need to clean up the careless penalties and get the Stankoven line going by the time the medal round starts. I don't think the 3 of them are even playing bad just the final product just keeps missing.

Fantilli has been M-I-A. I am shocked how invisible he's been.

That game was incredible man… slow first period but two intense periods following.

Finally back in a Junior Barn, Halifax is rocking baby this is going to be a great 2 weeks.

Canada was alright in the pre-tournament, not great but not terrible. Beat every other team, but none of those teams are that strong. Plenty of things to improve on, mainly getting the Stankoven line going and getting the defencemen to make simple and effective decisions clearing the puck.
