Again, you seem to be under the misconception that we'd rather the BuLi be more like the EPL, when protecting our league from what has happened in england is why we have the 50+1 rule.

As I wrote yesterday I totally understand making Bayern the best club to help the Deutschland national team. It makes perfect sense that all the other clubs are essentially meaningless.

It’s way easier than linking him to friends who could just be random people. Relatives probably shares surname. He didn’t handle this properly.

I have a friend who used to ref hockey games in Sweden which you were able to bet on. That is foolproof stuff.

Buddies are often the worst.

You can bet, but that surname will automatically trigger suspicions. Certainly if you place a bet on West Ham. Not exactly hard for them to connect those two to each other.

Even if he’s not involved i’m sure the bettingcompanies can forbid relatives from betting anyway. They have incredibly stupid rules. That won’t get him suspended from football though.

Yea a lot of that type of stuff is done on patterns of betting/behavior. Just throwing some random money on your cousin's team isn't an issue, but if suddenly you go from betting $20/game to suddenly throwing $500 on them to lose when no public information would support that and it later comes out that there was a big injury in training, that triggers a lot more scrutiny.
