I am talking about the effort, not that I agree with him or you. You get props as well for spending the time searching for all of those.

Per your other post, it’s not hard. [MOD] He made a laughable attempt to demonstrate something which he for the most part couldn’t do. Of course when you’re dealing with someone definition of hyping a player includes:

-acknowledging the players existence
-mentioning the player
-liking the player
-the player playing for your club
-wanting the player to play
-wanting the player to start
-wanting the player in the squad
-acknowledging the player’s performance

Not to mention some other nonsense I’m probably forgetting. [MOD] Anyway, this is why you always check sources and whether it’s internet trolls or the media.
Alba and Busi officially leaving. Sucks to see them go, an end to an era. Choked up just thinking of it but it really is time to go and barca save much needed $$$. Alba was due for 36M he gave up, respect to the squirrel. Hope he stays in europe and plays, he can offer a lot to another team. I could easily see two more years.

I don’t think Alba is giving up all that money though. Either way, I agree, said to see them go, but it was going to happen sooner rather than later. This is why we need to get the finances in order and buy the LA Galaxy and rename them FC Los Angeles.

EDIT: And this is why it sucks that we have Alonso. We might have been able to bring in Grimaldo on a free.

Busi yes not sure where Alba is going. It just broke out hes leaving now soo.

He can definitely still play, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he takes a golden ticket.

Some Barca rumors:

-Abde linked with Leverkusen. I’d definitely sell him. Doubt we could afford him, that Abde would make much of a dent in the overall operation and that we have the room for him, but would be nice to get Wirtz.
-Kounde linked with Chelsea and United. Seeing way too much smoke about him wanting to go. It’s new news though, so let’s see if things cool down.
-Christensen linked with Inter. If we can hold on to Kounde but need funds, I’d consider offers for Christensen. Of course Garcia is the CB who should moved first.
-Umtiti linked with a Lecce stay or a move to Lyon.
-Nico Gonzalez rumored to be loaned or sold.
-Fabricio Diaz addressed Barca rumors saying he’s focused on Liverpool (Uruguay).

Ugarte to PSG is pretty much done. 60M€

Also deal between PSG and Lucas but not with Bayern yet.
I hate the deal

I love Lucas but he might just be damaged goods at this point.

Ugarte is a good sub for a club with PSG's aims and he's still young enough to hope he'll be starter material in a year or two.

Double their investment after just 1 season if they don't think Erling's leaving for Spain anytime soon?
I get it.

But it's not like they need to get money anytime soon. the only way I could see it happen is if the player isn't happy. Dude is playing a decent amount of minutes, and I think he's good enough to play with Haaland some.

The Ugarte to PSG is why Liverpool likely cooled on it. I would bet they were basically told that's where he's going.

As for the Mount to United news, at the prices quoted, Liverpool were always out. I think he could do a job (probably better than what Jones is doing) in a system, but I don't think they were ever going to break the bank for him.

Haven't there been grumblings about them facing some "serious" FFP concerns just like PSG & Chelsea? I feel like I remember reading that they would need some big figures coming in to make their books look kosher...ish.

But I could totally be misremembering that, City's finances aren't exactly high on my priorities list

Either way, if the player's happy with his role and City don't need to sell, then there's probably nothing to it other than Bayern losing Lewa last summer, having their season turn to s*** since they fired Nagelsmann, and Alvarez having a phenomal year. They've been linked to basically every up-n-coming striker in europe already

Arsenal & Tottenham have reportedly been scouting Tapsoba extensively and Leverkusen is said to be willing to talk if a "high offer" is made. No speculation on what that threshold is though.

Again this is going totally off memories of something I didn't care too much about at the time, but I thought they needed actual sales to get things within fudging range.

Not just revenues from renting stuff to their owners or magical bonuses from their "sponsors", and other such nonsense.

Can we stop pretending that FFP is going to be a factor with any of these deals
It's not a real restriction, but it can create hoops for teams to jump through if they want to juice their finances.

He's 3yrs younger than Tah, so it's not as frustrating yet...but he's had the same problem with consistency.

Why go back to that shit show when you can continue to grow and excel at a club that is playing in Europe!? :sarcasm:

Wow, that is a name I have not heard in a very long time. He wasn't exactly a wunderkid, but some scouts and football games had him being one of the top 10-15 CDMs in the world. Still had a solid career, but more in terms of a top-half-table club.

How has his development been since 4-5 years ago? If I remember he was supposed to be one of the top-rated German CBs with Ginter as a youth, and then both sort of fell in hype, but it seems Tapsoba might've rebounded nicely.

Tapsoba isn't german, you're thinking of Tah...who's also looking at an EPL move this summer. Tapsoba's a huge talent, but just like Tah he hasn't been very consistent for Leverkusen. Although both are coming off good seasons where they were very solid after the coaching change.

Tough to say if they'll rise to a new challenge or if this is just who they are.

Thanks, totally forgot that he's French and yeah I was totally misremembering him and Tah. Would you think Tapsoba needs a couple more seasons of development in BuLi before heading to the exceptional EPL?

Tapsoba is African. Not United quality in my opinion either.

I wouldn't mind Romeu as a sub, but we need a starting DM too.
