Thoughts on Mingo? If you have any haha.

I get it, but I could still see them developing a dedicated slot WR talent for the future and even pairing that with kincaid

Not that you asked me, but I like Mingo better than Kincaid :)

He reminds me of a budget AJ Brown

I don't know how much genuine 12 they can play; Kincaid's blocking is more of that of a power slot than an actual TE. But just having a power slot is a refreshing update on all the little guys we've had at slot WR lately.
I know the prognosticators are saying he’s a big slot. I don’t see it. Any TE that plays H or F, by position on the field, is in the slot. I think that’s where the similarities end.

This kid is a Kelce clone. He’s going to do more than just play big slot. And while he’s not a great blocker now, he’s willing. He’ll get bigger and better at that.

Kelce and Hernandez are his comparables. He’s a TE. He does TE things on film.

Him and Knox are going to cause absolute fits for teams

Here’s hoping Knox brings him to TE U if he doesn’t go already.

Just gotta hope Dorsey has a plan for them and that Josh starts slinging the rock to TEs more often

The only thing we’re lacking on offense (outside of the line) as an elite #2. And you weren’t getting it by drafting a WR this year.

Sooooo go get Hopkins now :)

Still think this is more for slot purposes than an actual TE, which is something they need. *shrug* Sucks about the 4th rounder but maybe they can work something up to get some more picks.
Beane says it dictates how Defenses have to play them

Re Mingo

He's one of my guys but he's kinda redundant after picking Kincaid.

Especially after trading up - no more picks need to be used for pass catchers.

Hope for Sanders/Simpson & beef up the OL from here...

Mingo would be a pick that'd be more for 2024. Train him up this year, then he takes over for Davis.
