- Philly beat Avs 5-3.

I know Avs have some injuries, but they're struggling to hold onto a playoff spot.

- Rangers beat Blues 6-4. This helps Rangers keep Florida out of a playoff spot.

Lose one, win one, lose one, win one... It's getting old. It feels like we're never playing a good team, half the league blows.
Then like last year the team will start to lose more after TDL. Let's just hope they lose more than they win until then. December should be tough after this game for the most part and they still have one of the hardest schedules left this season

I honestly can't remember us having an easier 2 month stretch to start a season than this year, can't wait for that hard part cause it's been a joke so far.

42 goals against in the last 10 games isn’t that bad if you’re the typical HFer that has no idea there are 31 other teams

EDIT: after 25 games against almost zero good teams:

22nd GF/G
27th GA/G
25th goal diff
29th PP
12th PK
T-27th reg wins
T-26th reg/OT wins
27th HDCF%

Desired results for tonight:

- MTL regulation loss to SEA
- FLA regulation loss to WPG

- STL win vs. NYI: STL will come within 2 pts of MTL
- OTT win vs. LAK: OTT will come within 3 pts of MTL
- CHI win vs. NJD: CHI will come within 6 pts of MTL

- CLB vs. PIT: CLB win brings them within 6 pts of MTL. PIT win keeps them ahead of FLA in the WC race.
- DET vs. TBL: DET win keeps them ahead of FLA in the WC race. TBL win creates more separation keeping FLA out of a Top-3 Division spot.

Don't hold your breath if you are looking for multiple 8 games loosing streaks this year. But rest assured, we will have a pick from the 6-12 range.

Things are going to tighten up and teams below us are going to catch us. It's just not sure shot bottom 5 pick like so many fans got attached to heading into the season

Yeah I think so too.

Injuries and a harder schedule.

Underlying numbers show this team is not good and should be bottom 7 sooner than later.

Bottom 6-12 range. I seen this a mile away this summer

Bettman would have a fit if we won again lol. We deserve something great to happen to us for all the suffering we went through. Fantilli would change our franchise.

Yeah, I would definitely be happy with Fantilli. It's a Franchise changing draft. It really is. There's a reason Chicago traded Dach, and the G.M. boldly stated last summer that they need to finish bottom 2 (guarantees top 4 pick), or it's all for naught.

Lots of teams feel same way. They're just not being honest about it.

👍 A little bit of a dirty game being played by a few GMs. Some teams are just straight up underperforming, how are the Capitals below us in the standings? Hopefully things adjust and we take our rightful spot in the bottom 5. Things are gonna tighten up after the Holliday break.

Ducks are 6-17-3 after 26 games. Habs were 6-17-3 after 26 games last year too. That's how bad our start to the season was. 0.288 winning %

Ducks, Blackhawks, Blue Jackets, Coyotes are likely to finish bottom 5. Sharks are in that mix too. Habs will be in the cluster ahead of them.

Said it before and calling it now... back to back seasons where dead last wins the lottery. I think someone from 3-8 range wins the lottery this year. Possibly both lotteries. Let the balls fall where they fall is what I say

Habs lost to Vancouver. Goaltending is bottom 5. They could easily finish bottom 5.
