Well my post last week would you be happy if Casas finished with 20 Hrs 250 BA and 350 OPS needs major tweeking

26 HR 260/370 ???

Also having young homegrown power at corners who can likely hit for decent average like Devers & Casas is my dream baseball foundation

Hockey comp would be Nashville getting Suter & Weber - I know same draft but Devers & Casas are young basebsll wise

Verdugo looks like he’s realizing this team and organization is pretty loaded and he’s not going to get paid

I think ownership/management is petrified to pay him long term

His time line seems to work very favorably for Sox as those OF prospects develop below

Casas absolutely nuked that ball. Good grief. And after taking one off the shin.

HES GOT THAT DAWG IN EM!
Please don’t go back to mid May here and see comments about Casas

Might be the single most embarrassing thing I’ve seen since the 2008 trade Bergeron thread he’s damaged good that @Ladyfan went off on a handful of Bergy bashers

Another great outing from the bullpen.

Another 0-12 from the heart of the order (Yoshida, Turner, Devers). Never fear, Casas is here!

Casas moving into the unreal territory, above even the highest expectations.

Yeh it’s crazy I sure never saw this but unexpected joy is the best

Going into June he was doing nothing right. Still walked around like he was Ted Williams.

Maybe, like young Ted, he knew. Just wait.

As a rookie at spring training they told Ted, wait until you see Jimmie Foxx hit. He said wait until Foxx sees me hit.

Even i didn’t expect *this* from Casas. It’s not only that he’s murdering the ball, he’s doing it against the other teams ace. He’s gotten Scherzer twice, Strider, and now Webb in the span of about a week

FWIW, I would rather call up Rafaela and see if he can hold his own in the majors than trade legitimate prospects for someone like DeJong or Edman.

I’d do something around Yorke for Edman. Can play 2B until Mayer is ready and then can move all around the diamond after Story slides over.

Agreed on DeJong though, he’s not worth giving up anything of much value for imo

I'd be surprised if someone doesn't offer cash considerations to take a flyer on him before he's put on waivers.

He would still need to stay on the MLB roster.
The only team who can send him to the minors this season is the Red Sox.

The whole situation has done him a disservice.

I don't know friends, this Casas kid sucks, clearly!
You realize people simply comment on the results, right? He sucked to start the year and is now becoming a force. It doesn't have to be more complicated than that. I am pumped to see the recent power. That is what has me excited.

I don't know how either of these guys are doing but Fox just had a segment on what teams should trade for certain players. Tim Anderson and Eduardo Rodriguez were mentioned. I thought both might work here. You could move Story to 2nd.

Yes, posters on a message board reacted to the results on the field. The horror! Let's just shut this place down until the World Series ends and then we can all come back and give our thoughts on the season. You don't just get to comment on things when they're going well.

The takes people had on a ROOKIE was hilariously bad. And that's what I'm commenting on.
