My prediction: Sox acquire Joe Ryan.

Why? I want him.

I don't think the Twins want to trade their best pitcher. And I'm not sure the prospects they would want is worth it. To me at least.

I like the way this deadline is shaping up for the Sox-and Bloom. He got a little bullpen help from the Dodgers, which was unexpected, and has room for more. Overrated junk like Lynn, and mediocrities like Giolito, are moving and leaving the decent to good stuff. I do not think Bloom will do too much more, but I like what is left to an extent.
