What the hell is going on in the Sox bullpen, did a player or staff collapse or someone fall over the railing into the bull pen? All kinds of emergency people running out there?

Chronic back issues? Uh-oh.

On the bright side, it's not like the Yankees still owe him another $160 million guaranteed or anything.

Oh, wait...

The Yankees have been on such a good path over the past several years, but have botched it last off-season with the contracts to Judge and Rodon, thank god. They should have let AJ sign with the Giants/Padres, but they probably felt the obligation and thought the fans were going to turn on them.

Not many high calibre deals were signed last off-season that I would have wanted the Sox to have made.

I'll take the robot umps now

Even if I still don't completely understand how the robo umps work (different strike zones for each hitter adjusted for size?), but no chance the robots can be worse even if they are not perfect.

Just do it and never look back. Calling strikes is very tough, I don't think you'd find many people doing a better job.

Hell baby
Team is much more focused and together

They outlined the hitters meetings vs years past today. Much more in-depth, much more involvement from everybody. More accountability.

Clubhouse needed new vibes

3 of his last 4 outings looking pretty good for Sale. Offense has beaten up on Manoah, Gausman, and Wheeler in a row. Not too shabby.
