Playoffs in 2018 were great but the regular season was kind of a foregone conclusion. Something about being the miserable underdog makes me pine for pre-2004 haha. Plus life wise we were in the height of kid raising, house remodeling, work grinding, etc. Didn't really watch much regular season sports 2015-2019

I think they gave him the opening day start because they didn't want the possibility of Sale getting dinked around by March weather with the built in day off tomorrow and the fact that they've had opening day postponed or delayed several times in recent years. Playing it safe by giving him the extra couple days to rest. At least that's my theory.

Can't wait for Felger to talk about how Bogaerts wouldn't have grounded into a double play like Arroyo (even though Bogey grounded into a lot of double plays last year)
