You're saying as a scapegoat I assume because in what universe is Cora the issue? The Sox don't have a single legit starterChaim should have one card left to play. Not gonna happen right now but firing Cora should be his last dance.
Oh I completely agree. It's a terrible baseball team. You're saying as a scapegoat I assume because in what universe is Cora the issue? The Sox don't have a single legit starter
Nobody is losing their mind. The team sucks. That is reality. If you can't be bothered then don't reply or go do something else.6 games in. I just can’t find it in me to get mad yet. Imagine losing your mind over this lmao
Sox fans knew this Bloom disaster was coming for months, in what world can you have a team with no starting pitchingNobody is losing their mind. The team sucks. That is reality. If you can't be bothered then don't reply or go do something else.
Good bullpen? Even when healthy and with Houck in there it is not a good bullpen. When you build a roster that is bad at fielding, base running and lack power through the lineup, unless you have elite pitching you're going to suck. Having a lineup that can make pitchers work for their outs and when healthy a good bullpen doesn't change that. It's not Cora's fault, if Bloom doesn't fix it he should be out after this season.
Jansen, Martin, Schreiber, Houck are all good, i think Winckowski has decent stuff and Whitlock should be in the bullpen as well. That's a good penGood bullpen? Even when healthy and with Houck in there it is not a good bullpen.
I agree about Whitlock, and you at least have an argument.Jansen, Martin, Schreiber, Houck are all good, i think Winckowski has decent stuff and Whitlock should be in the bullpen as well. That's a good pen
You got swept by the Pirates tho. That's pretty difficult to do.6. Games.
They should be 1-5 as their first win was a gift
I repeat, Cora is in no way part of the problem....Other than Devers, who exactly are their best players? They are a decent Verdugo, a Japanese rookie and unknown quantity, and a 38 year old Turner. You have to expect ups and downs from that group.Way too early to make that sort of decision, but if your best players are underperforming, you should look at the manager with a skeptical eye. After 2018 I thouhgt Alex would have a damn 15-20 year run here, but honestly his in-game management the last few years can be puzzling at times. Players seem to love him, but that magic has worn off a little.
But again, way too early. This series was frustrating, they hit well in game 1, but got no pitching. They got decent pitching yesterday and good pitching today, but no hitting. They're a flawed team, sure, but they do seem to have luck going against them, as much as they got luck in their favor when they beat the Orioles. They probably are what their record says they are. I think the pitching will be better as guys get healthy, but I'd like more consistency out of the offense rather than 9 runs one day, 1 run the next.
Correct. They have played six games and people are reacting to those games because it's a message board. But it's really not just six games. It's an expected carryover from last year.6. Games.
