Odd, most reports say he fell due to size. Same as Benson I assume. Hockey sense is a weird hill to die on, considering Kulich isn't even known to have above average hockey sense. You are under selling him. There are very few players in the entire NHL with higher upside than Savoie. Point is his ceiling.
I'm not dying on any hill. You stated that's the first you heard of him not being a top line player.. I told you there are multiple reports from the day we drafted him stating that. Was Elite Prospects that mentioned his hockey sense.
You've under sold Kulich on everything.. painting him out as basically another VO which couldn't be further from the truth.

Also illustrates there's probably guys in the mid-20s among Sabres prospects that will dress for NHL games. Nutty.
I think everyone through tier 5 has a shot (there are some pure boom/busts, particularly the russians who just dominated 3v3), but yeah. This is the deepest the pool has been in my lifetime.

Pool's need to be developed or traded in timely fashions though, or you end up with a LAK situation.

Savoie has elite everything except hockey sense (I guess). Kulich ceiling is a second line center. There is nothing that paints him as a top line player. Did you know he scored a large amount of his goals on the powerplay?

Kulich won't even be playing Center in the NHL.

But whatever... Im done with you.

Where is this hockey sense conversation coming from?
Elite prospects said Savoie had poor hockey sense.
Kulich won't even be playing Center in the NHL.

a drafted Center 100% won't play C in NHL is a bold statement. I think our third best prospect that's a center should be capable enough to play his position in the NHL. You insist he is such a good prospect so he must have good skill and vision to play C. I won't buy into the Kulich overhype. He could be a very well rounded player with an elite shot, 50-70 point player. Very good prospect still.

Because every poll stays open for 2 days. I feel like 24-hour polls are too short and end up leaving out a lot of posters who are regulars but maybe don't check HF every single day.
My mistake.. I thought they were 24 hours and you were slacking :D

Where is any of it coming from?

We are either going to have Savoie or Kulich be our fourth ranked prospect, and IMO that’s insane because they are both A level prospects that most teams would kill to have as their #2. I have a strong preference for Kulich but that doesn’t mean I don’t think Savoie can be a freaking great player too. The need to tear down is bizarre imo.

While I agree how else are you going to compare 2 players without comparing the 2 players? The offensive part is how bad the arguments are.

picture botteril failing in the box on camera ( near end of the year) after the great start and Adams watching all of his mistakes and success drafting,, he was i in on the draft w Dahlin and muel and next cozen Dylan .

then hired to move up w peterka after controversial but signature pick in Quinn .

June 16, 2020

Coaching and management career

On June 16, 2020, he was named the team's general manager, replacing the recently-fired Jason Botterill.

On March 17, 2021, ( Adding Donny created Thompson, reclaimed Skinner creating top 9 and top 2 D ) Granato became the interim head coach of the Buffalo Sabres, replacing the fired Ralph Krueger. Granato posted a 9–16–3 record in 28 games with the Sabres to finish off the 2020–21 season head coach. The interim tag was removed on 2021 June 29 for the 2021–22 season

Karmanos ; was back on March 17 when Adams first made mention that he was looking to add to the Buffalo front office. The Sabres general manager had reportedly been interested in adding Karmanos to his staff for quite some time, and was reportedly set to interview the former Pittsburgh Penguins assistant general manager back on March 25.

July 20 2021, The Panthers traded Levi's rights, along with a 2022 first-round draft pick that Buffalo used on Czech winger Jiri Kulich, to the Sabres in exchange for Sam Reinhart

July 23 2021. The initial trade called for the Sabres to acquire defenseman Robert Hagg and a first round draft pick. That first round pick turned into Isak Rosen, who has since signed his rookie deal and treated Sabres

Montour for Stillman

Nov 4 2021 case you need a reminder, the trade saw the Sabres acquire Peyton Krebs and Alex Tuch, a top-10 protected 2022 first-round pick (Noah Östlund) and a 2023 second-round pick in exchange for Eichel and a 2023 third-round pick

For Buffalo, the last-place Sabres continued selling off assets by acquiring a third-round draft pick in what is not expected to be their final move before the NHL’s trade deadline on Monday. The Sabres traded veteran Eric Staal to Montreal last month,

Hagg for Jake Richard. 2022.

All this happened fairly quickly while team developed , within a year..Granato worked hus magic w who we already had.. Adams carefully filled in spots and went to Russia ( maybe the most opportunistic Russian move since mogilny as 5 players may realistically push for spots this year and absolutely camp next year separately from the 5 to ten , North American and European players that may play significant NHL games in their careers) that w Karmanos and guided by newly hired nightengale and geek staff.. before.. You all know this..

Quite a few tricks for our one trick pony.. And business Kev.. locked em up . mostly cheap all buying in to what salary looks like on a winner.. not bad.. looking at the depth , you all are talking about and baker starts to cash in on Forton and company picks . Seems Kev delegates and Donny wins em over and keeps em..

The recap is mostly Kevin winning most really Big trades. and both sides not feeling burned .some key draft moves as well ( hopefully getting more cups than handing them out to scum like taint piestrangchopman , slewfoot slowman pasthisbachelismatoff and thachooktyrd . while ignoring the leafs as they crumble without help

If one third realizes potential from Europe to Russia to Winnepeg not Ice.. KA looks pretty good to even the draft and hockey geeks second guessing every move.. He can look next to beating Cia outside trashing the Bills got last year ominously starting w unfortunate inflammation parasite injury to Quinn. He has thoroughly prepared for.. as did McD.. we shall see.. maybe more moves but , how can you not trust Kev. , even all of us damaged in buffalo 66 land beneath the weird spicket under firmament.

2023? Greenway..
