I never felt as giddy about Reino the way I do about both Levi and Kulich.

And Sam was my guy months before the pick, defended him IRL for years.

+ Kozak

Despite my concerns with Savoie, I still voted him. I do think his upside is higher.

To me Kulich seems like a less-physical Evander Kane with a better shot. He likes to throw everything on the net but I have concerns about his ability to be enough of a playmaker at the NHL level. Doesn’t mean he’s bad, just could limit his upside.

He was hurt during the U20 summer camp.

Add Nadeau.
Looks like he was ready to go. I haven't seen differently.

I have a couple off-the-board picks coming in future votes, but curious what @Weltschmerz and @dickiedunnwrotethis see in our Swedes here?
Ostlund was my highest ranked player of the three we took in the first round. I look for high ceiling candidates in the first round and his combination of elite hockey sense (highest of the three), strong skating and high compete put him ahead of the other two. His main drawback is physical immaturity and I believe time will solve that problem. As an aside, I had all three players ranked in the top 15 that year (Ostlund, Kulich, and Savoie in that order) and nothing that has transpired so far has persuaded me to change my opinion.

I think the top 3 forwards are all so incredibly close. Picked Savoie but Kulich goes top 5 in a redraft. Exciting times ahead.
