I almost elected Komarov but I think Nadeau goes slightly higherKulich, add Komarov.
Really think we got a nice late round gem with Komarov.

Took me a second, but I used the old hfboard percentages ways.
Primarily to illustrate just how close I think the top 3 are.
similar to the #2 prospect vote, whats the point of the 4th best vote? For discussion/nomination?
The loser here will run away with the 4th spot
Sure, if he met expectations. Did you expect him to:Savoie, add Poltapov
He was considered a more NHL ready prospect than most. meeting expectations in AHL isn't really moving the needle for me yet.
Could not decide between the other 2 and Rosy had a great playoff run.I have a couple off-the-board picks coming in future votes, but curious what @Weltschmerz and @dickiedunnwrotethis see in our Swedes here?
As of now its 1 vote difference so I dont get your logic. Kulich should be a runawaysimilar to the #2 prospect vote, whats the point of the 4th best vote? For discussion/nomination?

i meant the Benson winI dunno. The #2 prospect vote sure seemed appropriate -- I think there was a genuine question of where Levi's votes would go.............especially considering how many here do consider performance at higher levels as a real factor.
That said -- I don't feel like there's as big of a question this time as regards prospect poll 4. I think that the rather vast majority of votes will go to whoever loses this one as I think that it's pretty clear that no matter how one personally arranges the top 4.......there's a very clear top 4.
We're still going to have prospect poll 4, because that's what we do. But I do agree that poll 4 feels more like a formality to me than poll 2 did.
You don't understand me correctly lol...I'm saying next vote is automaticAs of now its 1 vote difference so I dont get your logic. Kulich should be a runaway
If I understand you correctly.
But many Benson voters from #2 consider Savoie over Kulich like me and thats why the vote is necessary.
I expected him to excel relative to other players in the first round. Sure he is showing a greater chance of reaching his ceiling, I just don't think its that high in the NHL.Sure, if he met expectations. Did you expect him to:
“ put together one of the most productive seasons ever by an 18-year-old skater in 2022-23, leading the Amerks and finishing tied for sixth amongst all AHL rookies with 24 goals while his 46 points were tied for 11th among first-year players. Kulich, the youngest regular player in the AHL this season, was only the fourth player in league history to score more than 20 goals during his 18-year-old season (turning 19 after Jan. 1) and first since Robert Dome of Syracuse recorded 21 in 1997-98. Kulich also became just the second Amerks player in franchise history to reach the mark as an 18-year-old since Jozef Cierny scored 27 during his only season in Rochester in 1992-93.
Kulich, who turned 19 on Apr. 14, then notched 11 points in 12 Calder Cup Playoff games – including scoring a goal in each of his first six postseason contests – to help the Amerks reach the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2004. His seven goals and 11 points in the postseason rank second and third amongst all rookies, respectively, while his six-game goal-scoring streak and seven-game point were the longest in the playoffs.
A first-round pick (28th overall) by Buffalo in the 2022 NHL Draft, Kulich won a silver medal with Czechia at the 2023 World Junior Championship.”
Because if that’s what you expected then kudos to you.

LeviWho do you think will win #4? The remainder of Savoie/Kulich, or Ostlund/Rosen?
It’s #6 where it gets interesting between Johnson, Novikov and Poltapov.
First I've heard of Savoie's ceiling not even being top line. You do realize Savoie is a potential 80-100 point player? Kulich will not be a ppg player. He may get 40, but won't get that many assists and won't be a 1st liner. He does not have any above average traits outside of shot, it is unrealistic to expect that much from him.His ceiling is a 40 goal 1st line winger.
Where as I see Savoie's ceiling as a 2nd line Center. Pretty comparable ceilings to me.
Nicely done!View attachment 728131

I mean just go back to the day we drafted him... all the reports were top 6 forward ... and average hockey sense will keep him from being top line talent.First I've heard of Savoie's ceiling not even being top line. With Kulich all I had to do was watch his post draft video to have a good feeling that there might be something special there.I expected him to excel relative to other players in the first round. Sure he is showing a greater chance of reaching his ceiling, I just don't think its that high in the NHL.
Well I am not the most fluent lately I have to admiti meant the Benson win

Odd, most reports say he fell due to size. Same as Benson I assume. Hockey sense is a weird hill to die on, considering Kulich isn't even known to have above average hockey sense. You are under selling him. There are very few players in the entire NHL with higher upside than Savoie. Point is his ceiling.I mean just go back to the day we drafted him... all the reports were top 6 forward ... and average hockey sense will keep him from being top line talent.
You are over selling him.
