Some people really struggle with the fact Mac Jones sucked last year and was part of the problem. I couldn't care less that Zappe and Cunningham were releases if that means Mac is all done pouting and ready to produce and be a leader. If the coaches feel good about that then I don't give a flying f who the backup QB is. The ridicule for people who were impressed by Zappe last year is absurd though.
I expect Cunningham on PS for sure. Surprised they are trying to sneak him through though. Teams takes fliers on QBs constantly.BTW, wouldn't we fully expect either Zappe or Cunningham back on the practice squad?

Matt Ryan, you heard it here first
I'd imagine he's on the block. Are the Titans keeping 3 QBs? Wonder about Malik Willis and if he has any upside as a backup.
Phenomenal career but this OL would be his pallbearers on the field of play. They might even be able to bury him in the Gillette Stadium turf.Matt Ryan, you heard it here first
That's fine but he still did as much as Mac last year if not more. That's all people are saying. If Mac's balls have dropped let's go!As for Zappe, he's not good, and it's pretty clear OBrien thinks so too. Dude lambasted him multiple times in the sidelines this training camp/preseason for bad football.
There was absolutely nothing embarrassing about fans being sick of Mac turning the ball over and enjoying the football a scrub QB like Zappe put on the field last year. This just doesn't make any sense. If Zappe got beat out on the practice field so be it. I'm not sure who this is directed at.And that closes the book on one of the more embarrassing chapters in patriots history (not Zappe himself- the fans who clamor for him to start for a real life nfl team)
