Well he's not wrong is he?

Look at all the players drafted in that round, they were all just as scouted ... how many are still in the league?

The GOAT was drafted in the 6th round, couldn't beat out Henson in college and goes on to rewrite history, it's a crap shoot.

Do you honestly think this is a defense of Mac Jones? That a second year quarterback was justified in pouting and having it impact his play?

To me that's a huge indictment of him as a professional.

The entire team minus..Zappe.

Everyone on that team was saying stuff to the media. Bourne was in the doghouse for the entire season. David Andrews, one of the most respected Patriots on the team had something to say. Mccourty. Judon. I can go on and on.

Bill created a circus and the entire team lost a year of development because of it.

Brady was a pouty bitch his last year here but because he won he got a pass. I get it.

This is Mac's year to show if what we saw his rookie year when he was damn good, was an outlier or the product of coaching. He himself has a lot in this season and the team too. I'm excited to see a team function correctly because we have coaches who are qualified coaching at their position.

Hell baby
I’m just excited to have an offense where the play call gets in on time and the routes aren’t running into each other

They can score only 17 ppg but f*** will it be a breath of fresh air compared to the Matty P O

was Patricia OC when Mac went 1-4 down the stretch year 1. the downward trend started after that Bills game where Mac threw for 19 yards. 7-12 record since

I want to focus on this, because I think it's bullshit. He was in the doghouse, but he was in the doghouse for complaining behind-the-scenes, which I have zero problem with. Every time they did let him play he performed and performed well, the opposite of pouting. And not everyone was bad last year or let their emotions impact their performance.

Even if they had, though, your starting QB sets the tone. It's why Brady was actually a problem his last year, which I have always criticized him for.

Mac can definitely get back on track this year, but he is not free of blame for last season. He acted like a spoiled baby when he needed to be a professional.

Just to clarify one thing here, Tom Brady DID beat out Drew Henson at Michigan. He was always better. His teammates knew he was better than the prodigy Henson. It was Lloyd Carr's stubbornness and probably pressure from the Henson hype that led to that timeshare. But make no mistake, Brady was always better than Henson at Michigan. And that created the chip on his shoulder and strained relationship with Carr.

From the 1999 Michigan season:

"After winning a quarterback competition with Drew Henson, Tom Brady completed 180 of 295 passes for 2,217 yards with 16 touchdowns and six interceptions. At the end of the season, Brady received the team's most valuable player award."

Just read some article that said the 3 main positions the Patriots are looking at now are TE NT and WR

Not sure if I understand WR
They definitely need upgrades at WR1 and WR2 but they ain't fixing that at this point. If they're looking for a WR I would imagine it's for someone they think is better than Tyquan Thornton/Boutte. Thornton is shaping up to be a complete bust.

I haven't followed training camp closely enough to know who the better kicker was but they invested a relatively high pick at kicker. Hopefully Ryland isn't another Rohrwasser.

Bill has to be bringing in McCoy, I can't imagine he goes into the season with Cunningham as QB2
