LOL. I admire your Zappe hate. Honestly.

But this is funny because last season Mid Jones showed zero pocket awareness.

I don't hate Zappe. But I don't think he's good. Even last year when he showed a flash. His pocket presence was terrible and he was constantly getting balls knocked down at the line of scrimmage. He has no situational awareness.

The o-line was awful. So that plays a part.
Mac was under attack all season. Let's see how he does this year. Looked fine his rookie year lest you forget?

Mac is what he is, and probably a player that warrants an upgrade unless he takes a significant leap this season. But my lord, Zappe hasn't done a single thing all training camp to warrant people thinking he can play.

Congrats on the 2+ games against shitty teams that you looked decent.

Wasn't Zappe's fault he was thrown into battle. He's just not good.

People cite that deep ball where nobody was within 30 yards of Meyers and Meyers had to make a circus catch AS A GOOD ZAPPE PLAY

He’s bad. His ceiling is Chase Daniel

But I’ve read right here on this website that Zappe is better than Jones. And from some people who think Tom Brady was pretty good, so they must be experts, right?

Last year sure because the Pats were losing at the time and randomly won a couple when Zappe came in. Of course this fanbase would react that way/say that.
Not the whole fan base did that. And I think the ones who did were wrong. And when an enormous portion of the argument was really just whining that Brady left and “waaah, six Super Bowls isn’t as important as none in four years,” I think there’s an element of foolishness that’s worth cracking wise about.

No one is comparing anyone to Brady. But thgere is absolutely a contingent of people who think Mac sucks, and Zappe is superior.

He's not, not even close.
There isn't a large gap between the two but it's not because Zappe is a stud. They both suck, Mac just sucks a little less

This team could go 6-11 :help:

They absolutely could, but it won't be because of anything that's happened in preseason. They've got the toughest schedule in the league and there's just not much talent on the team.

The best case scenario would be going 3-14 and Caleb Williams is in a Pats jersey at 8:10 pm on April 25th, 2024, but I have a better chance of starting at QB in 2 weeks than that happening.
