Tatum simply can’t have the ball in his hands the last possession of the game. That’s not “Ivy League basketball iq”. End of reg and OT. Insane.

He was clutch the possession prior (though a pushoff)

Overall I agree with you

They should have called a timeout and had Brogdon sub in/handle the ball

Mazulla loves that ....don't mess the flow BS. He will get trounced at the podium today.

He is just too cocky for his own good imo.

Let’s hang onto the ball around mid court until there’s 4 seconds left…then figure it out.
Basically the definition of shoot yourself on the foot

Get the bucket 1st and play D. Or foul for one more opportunity

Mazzulla just way too chill

It's just another year of the C's playing down to their opponent. They never learn. No reason to lose game 1. No reason to lose today. They'll go 7 and if they win talk about being resilient or some other bs.

I expect the Celts to win the series 4-2 or worst worst case 4-3

IF Mazzulla can't close it out. He should be fired. Brad Stevens on the hot seat.

John nearly lost his life after being shot while attending class at Michigan State.

An incredible moment to watch

Felt like they did a lot of the small things wrong late in the 4th and in ot. Brown helping on the final 76ers possession is just dumb basketball. If Embiid wants to take a contested shot at the rim just to tie the game and giving you the final possession let him, don't give their hottest player all game a wide open 3 to take the lead. Also thought they took way too long to get going on the final possession of the 4q or ot, they had no timeouts at the end of the game so there's no pressure to hold the ball for the final shot if you get the mismatch and it's not like you used any of yours either so if you miss, take the foul and get another chance.

I honestly don’t think coaching really matters much in the nba. The players made a lot of dumb mistakes down the stretch and I refuse to absolve them of blame for this game, they’re the biggest reason they lose just like they’re the biggest reason they win

We can act like Udoka was better but the same kinda shit happened last year in games they lost too. Is it really coaching at this point?

*disclaimer: it was stupid to not call timeout on the last possession, I would’ve done it. Sixers were sucking wind late tho so I wonder if that factored into the decision
