If it was reported that he was, now being reported that he isn't... chances are these reporters are just talking out their a** and are just reporting what fits their team narrative the best.
His agent claims that there was an error in translation. It’s been my experience that the translation was correct. The claim of error is to avoid narrowing the market.

I don't know if anyone else still plays Immaculate Grid every day, but today I got the chance to use
Eddie Gaedel
and was very happy to be able to do that

I play a lot.

Always frustrated that while driving around doing errands 50 players pop into my head, but as soon as I start playing that game I draw a blank, after getting 3 right.

lol

How many of the Top 50 or so free agents have signed?

One? Maybe two?

Wyatt Mills was signed to a minor league contract. He won't even take up a spot on the 40-man roster.
They do not seem to be in on anyone but Montgomery, and that in itself is not good...I do expect one or two trades, but nothing else. Sticking with Sale over other options tells me a lot.

They’re reportedly in on Montgomery, Yamamoto, Snell and Yariel Rodriguez. They’re also reportedly in on Ohtani, Merrifield, Torres and India.

They will not get Ohtani. His interest is lukewarm at best. If he has any brains, he will go to the Dodgers, Rangers or Braves. Yariel is nothing. Torres is mediocre and probably a one year rental, if they should even get him in trade. I question giving the Yankees an A prospect for Torres anyway. Montgomry is out of shape and mediocre. Do not want. Yamamoto is the only question, and I think odds are very much against it. The second basemen, particularly Merrifield, are an ok consolation/boobie prize

Dombrowski was an open book in terms of who he was after. Bloom hated leaks. Breslow is an unknown. I think it's a little early to suggest that just because you're not hearing national reporters talking about huge money deals the Sox have offered doesn't mean it hasn't or won't happen.

The market has barely started to move. Let's see where things stand in another week or two.

I'm glad you have it all figured out.

This is kind of interesting...

For what it's worth, Sean McAdam is reporting that the Red Sox have not shown interest in trading for Dylan Cease. He says the team did reach out to Blake Snell, but that Snell is believed to prefer pitching on the West Coast, and specifically would like to play for his hometown Seattle Mariners.
