Not a whipping boy but a gimmick this season. That we should all know.Im afraid that it might happen. People need to lower their expectations.

25 days until rookie camp.
You’re no rookie Mike. Time to believe in yourself. You got this.Starting to think that, once again, I'm not getting an invite.

You’re the best. Around.:they'll just delete my response to you:
No way. Expectations are so low if he gets in one fight everyone here will be happy.
my guess is Freddy, I like him but no way does he score 17 again.

No. It won't happen.
I think there's too much respect, too much affection, for what Milan has meant to the Bruins.
It might not work out, but I think most fans will be respectful. He's not going to be here more than a few years anyway.
Remember, other clubs came calling. Milan wanted to come back to Boston. He's not going to dog it. He's passionate, and that's always been the engine of his game.
I think it's fair to say that he's passionate about Boston, and he's passionate about the Bruins.
Besides, Luci will go looking for any detractors.
And he will find them.
He's going to have some competition...I already see it in some of the posts on here. If he doesn't come out of the gates to impress and in some cases even if he does , he's gonna get torn apart.
If this fanbase can turn on Cam Neely (albeit not while he was a player), no one is really safe.No. It won't happen.

Jay O’Brien is another nice college fa. Former 19th overall pick hasn’t really developed into the Center the flyers thought when drafting him. Played some wing at the end of the season at BU.No more rumors or FA Talk
What is the likelihood he joins the bruins? BU thing helps, no?Jay O’Brien is another nice college fa. Former 19th overall pick hasn’t really developed into the Center the flyers thought when drafting him. Played some wing at the end of the season at BU.

This fan base does not play. They expect players to perform.I already see it in some of the posts on here. If he doesn't come out of the gates to impress and in some cases even if he does , he's gonna get torn apart.
Huh? Are you confusing me with someones else, or is this a joke I'm not getting? What a job - you took October 15 till April 30 off
When the Bruins are going good you are not around

Lucic under performs or becomes more hindrance than help with a role larger than he's still skilled to do, I can see that being an issue.
Lucic as a 4th liner at this stage? Great, it works.
Lucic masquerading as a 2nd liner well past his prime? That could be a problem.
Not saying that situation will happen, but stranger things have happened.
And looking at this teams depth... If Zacha is at C, that 2LW is up for grabs.
Interesting article, but I don’t think the assertion that Chara “was not invited back” is accurate. As I recall, they offered him a contract with a reduced minutes role and he wasn’t interested.Clear cache/cookies to access,
Could the retirements of Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci be Georgii Merkulov’s big chance with the Bruins? - The Boston Globe
Merkulov is now about 5 feet 11 inches, 180 pounds, and his game clearly has an accent on offense, which is what attracted the Bruins to him initially.www.bostonglobe.com
