Look at the signings thus far. Does that look like a club going for the Stanley Cup?

By the way I'm okay those signings. There's some size, which I certainly like.
With Bert maybe. My personal preference is to trade Linus and start a 1-2 year transition…

But I can’t get around if Bergy comes back they won’t change focus.

Maybe DS is indicating he doesn’t want Bergy back? And wants transition?

My premise is trading Linus would be that true signal flare about direction.

We have 2 goalies and defenseman like Gryz and Carlo who are attractive to potential trading partners.
So you want to subtract Carlo and Gryz and replace them with who? I’m fine with trading MG but goalies don’t hold as much value in the trade market and They sure as hell better not trade sway

And do we get more for Ullmark by waiting for the trade deadline this year. That’s a tricky one

Naw... Bruins make the playoffs.

Bruins didnt have Bergy nor Krejci for like the last 10 games? The team kept trucking.

Still have to subtract Bertuzzi, Orlov, Cliffy, Nosek, Hall, Figgy, it's a lot of bodies (I know Hall and Figgy were out too)

It'll be interesting any way!

Good size kid 6’1” 220 ish , can hit and the occasional goal. After that I can’t imagine much more upside.
Fun fact his grandfather was the Rooney Mara who owned the NYgiants

Thank you.

As Conor Ryan points out

the Bruins are prioritizing value -- and SIZE.

Finally!

WOO EFFING HOO!!!!

I was totally fine going with Zacha & Coyle as our top two centers. I said it before, but our best playoff games were with that setup. But that was with Bertuzzi as a winger, I’m a little less confident with JVR penciled in there.

where did Bert end up?

I think Donny is waiting to see what's the money he's left with once everything is settled to sign Bergy. Bergy will probably accept anything plus a little bonus with that, being the perfect impersonation of perfection.

I like what Bruins have done they added sandpaper and experience.Sure beats doing nothing. If it does not work so be it cause they lost the last pile of years anyways so what the heck.Least with Looch they have somebody now that will beat the snot out of goofs like Bennett or Tkachuk.
