Looks like bruins will be 1-1 and looking mortal. These teams are all so close, games can go either way. Probably why a bad goal or missed penalty is emphasized so much.

Isles need to pick this shit up.

Gonna suck for me if the rest of the next 2 weeks my only rooting interests are the Lightning and the Devils.

It’s so weird. Ultimately if you don’t win the cup you’re not happy but we’ve been one of the most successful teams since 2020 and we missed the playoffs last year.

If I'm Cooper I probably pull Vas if it gets to 4-0...this game much like COL/SEA just felt to me like one which was decided before anyone took the ice

Remember when some here stated William Nylander was overrated?

Make your public apologies now

What a difference he’d make on the Isles and he shows in the playoffs

Rangers actually are playing lights out hockey...not sure I have ever seen them look this good in the playoffs in the last 10-12 years...feels like it was also defense first/goalie

Kreider his 4th PPG in 5 periods. Fox 6 pts. Is the PP supposed to be that easy?
That’s what happens when you actually have talented players. But a lot of Isles fans don’t want to hear that - let’s fire the PP coach, maybe the eighth one in the last few years will do the trick

It won't be against Carolina, thats for sure but with them down 3 forwards and who knows who else by the time they "probably" advance I do not see them troubling them. I do feel the Isles can absolutely make that series more about grit/emotion and probably get under their skin a bit.

We are all quite aware of the god awful PP. Thanks for the reminder.
You asked a question and I answered. Thank you for the reminder about the Rags’ PP, as if you haven’t made talked about how good it is 49 times over their last two playoffs runs.

Not sure if it’s the camera angle, but Seattle looks fast.

If an expansion team can assemble a team as fast as this in two years, the Islanders can re-tool on the fly and get faster. They just need to want to value speed…

Also, Devils getting 2019 “Islandered”

This Rags Devils series is looking like our series against them from 94. The Devils are just totally outclassed in every way so far. Honestly, I cannot even remember the last legit scoring chance I saw the Devils get. This is exactly why I would have loved to get them in the first round. They just do not look ready for the playoffs. Basically non competitive.

Devils are just so damn young.

Under our current system though who knows if we'd have fared as well against them as we think. Maybe Sorokin would have had to have been God because I am sure that they'd not shut their offense down like he Rangers did

That 94 isles team was far worse than this devils team.

This Devils team is maybe more 05-06 Rangers like...both finished roughly 4/5. Many felt NYR would win the series and they got smashed to pieces...they gradually became a more competitive experienced team thereafter but just were not yet ready
