Tkachuk's line is relentless. Haven't really noticed Barkov at all, which is weird because he has two assists. I am doing other things while watching though so maybe I'm just missing him.

The expansion draft rules were ridiculously stacked for the expansion teams. It's an insult and an affront to fans of established teams like the Islanders who haven't won a cup in decades and are in salary cap hell because of the static cap that teams like Vegas and Seattle can contend for a Cup in a year or two. I root passionately against these teams for this reason (although I would pull for them vs the Rags and Leafs). The expansion team rosters are built for the playoffs. Deep teams that can roll lines.

Seattle is what happens when you have that proper structure again. Isles should do everything to poach Dunn or Bouchard from RFA status.

Teams should be less stupid then. Its an insult to how stupid some GM's can get (COUGH COUGH), and it exposes how terrible asset management is for some players as well. At least with the Bolts they had a reason why Gourde left. What the actual hell is wrong with the Isles, Leafs, and Penguins to give up those players? What the hell were we thinking giving up Eberle over Bailey/Martin/Clutterbuck? Ridiculous. I hate the expansion draft but it exposes how stupid GM's get.
