Tampa with the EPIC choke job. Just shaking my head and laughing as they just imploded that entire 3rd period. As soon as that penalty was called on OT I knew that the game was going to end. Unbelievable

Since 2021, Tampa has lost the following guys
-Coleman
-Gourde
-Goodrow
-McDonough
-Palat
-Ruuta
-Schenn
Way too much depth being lost for the Bolts

Possibly rags

This is shaping up to be a horrible ECF second round
Well, Devs giving it a go.....i could pull for them.......been pulling for Seattle since day one so hoping they make it to the next round. Either way, thinking i will be pulling from the west if we are out of it.

Well I picked the Devils to win in 5, as I really thought they were the better team, but after those first two blowouts I thought I was dead wrong. But they’ve made this a series now.

It would do a lot towards easing my reaction to the Isles’ first round performance if the Rags manage to blow this
Really?
Before the series if you told me it would be over in 5 games, the thought of the devils being the winner wouldn’t have even crossed my mind.

That’s a dirty hit by Makar. He’s lucky he’s a star

If that were Martin or Clutter they’dve been (rightfully) ejected
Didn't know about this, and I saw it (and at full speed). If that's not a major penalty, I don't know what is. A hit doesn't have to be a brutal charge if the player getting hit has zero expectation, and no good reason to expect to get hit. If the NHL wants to go back to the days where teams carry multiple enforcers, and they get rid of the instigator, then maybe they can say that's a 2 minute penalty. Because a 2 minute penalty is not enough deterrence against injury causing cheap-shots.

I know I’m in the minority here, but I don’t mind Toronto taking their series. Good on the Leafs for sacking up after collapsing like a cheap table for years. They’ve been humbled enough, and Tavares is just a complementary player at this point.

Bruins will steamroll them anyway.

That was really f***ing dirty, he should've been tossed. There was absolutely no reason for that hit. About three seconds tick off the clock before he throws the hit in the corner after McCann shot the puck from above the hash marks in the slot. Insanely late, with the puck nowhere near him (it deflected out of play on the opposite side of the net).

Tampa Bay is banged up, and pretty depleted compared to where they started a few years ago in terms of talent, and now Boston is too. Bergeron is hurt and Krejci was ruled out for tomorrow already I think.

It's all a schtick, I think he's a great personality.

I kinda got the sense that Henrik Lundquist cant stand him. Messier is dull. But I agree he is a "personality" so he serves a purpose. Its still better than the NBC telecast where it was as dry as BBC nightly news

Bergeron should be ready to roll soon, and it seems like a couple of guys have been picking up the slack in his absence. Haven’t had a chance to keep close tabs on their series, but hopefully nothing serious with Krejci. Also, hopefully Tampa can steal a game in Toronto to give Bergeron and Krejci more time to recover.

They're actually friends. They have done a few content pieces with one another and Lundqvist was a guest on Bissonnette's podcast Spittin' Chiclets. The commentary about where Lundqvist gets his haircut stems from that appearance on the podcast.

Bissonnette isn't the most eloquent guy and definitely plays up certain aspects of being a hockey player/goon/troll, but it's all part of the larger plan. I think Chiclets is the largest hockey podcast, they have their own beer, and they have their own Vodka flavor (that crushed the competition when it launched). Don't let the WWE performance fool you, he's no dummy.

Played fast. Now he tries to slow the game down way too much. Needs to play aggressive and attack more. Like McKinnon McDavid Hughes.
If the islanders had some faster players maybe he'd go back to playing fast..? The whole team being so slow basically limits how fast he can go.

I don’t think so. It’s his mindset and the way he plays. He enters the zone with the puck and immediately looks to slow up and scan the ice. Pull back. Circle. He needs to attack.

For anybody still defending how we handled the expansion draft, it is wonderful to see Josh Bailey as a healthy scratch in the playoffs while Jordan Eberle is scoring game winning overtime playoff goals in Seattle. Ugh
